The Evil effects of the planets are called as Doshas
Which are pariharas:
The remedies like pooja, yaga which are done for reducing the evil effects of the planets are called as pariharas
Three types of Pariharas:
1.Poojas,yaagas done to the Lord related with the specific planet.
2.Visiting the pilgrim centers related with the specific planet.
3. Donating things. Ie. Land, meal, gold etc
1.Yagas for Gods:
Which is yaga ? creating fire and throwing the valuable things in to it. Fire is ruled by Mars. So that you can control the evil effects of Mars. In the same way according the things thrown you can get relief from those planets which rule the things thrown in to fire. Ie. Gold is ruled by Jupiter, silk saris ruled by Venus.
Mangalik;
Especially yagas control the evil effects of mangalik Dosha (Mars in other than 3,6,10,11 th houses from lagna. That too there are some restrictions.
Example: Imagine that Mars is at 12th house. What is the result? You have to face loss due to fire. If you voluntarily through things in to fire.. you are voluntarily creating loss to your property in to fire.
But if the Mars is in 7th house? What is the result you have to be separated from your wife. If u through things in to fire will your wife return home? No..
